Mrs. Anna Lucy Green, 71, died at her home near Belding. Mrs. Green was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.H. Lawrence, who came to Ashley Township from Fenton. She was married to Clinton Green in Dec 1884, and she and her husband celebrated their golden wedding anniversary three years ago. She was an active member of the Ashley Baptist Church, Goodfellowship Club, Columbia Club, Model Washington Club, M44 Club, and a former member of the O.E.S. and Grange. Besides the husband, two sons, Lawrence and Nelson both of Belding RFD and four grandsons survive. Funeral Sun at Fitzjohn’s Funeral Home. Burial in Ashley Cemetery.
