Alma Leola Meier, 90, of Kalkaska, died Thu, Jan 11, 2001, at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
She was born on Aug 13, 1910, in Anna, OH, the daughter of William O. and Bessie Anderson Barker. She had been a resident of Botkins, OH, until moving to this area in 1946. Known as "Potsy" to her friends, she worked at the Kal Ho Bar for many years until her retirement in 1993. She was farmer member of the Anna (Ohio) Methodist Church, and enjoyed cooking and baking.
On Jun 27, 1931, in Anna, OH, she married Delmar Roy Meier, who preceded her in death on Nov 16, 1969.
She is survived by her daughter Jacqueline (Patrick) McReavy of South Boardman; granddaughter, Kelly of Traverse City; grandson Scott (Rosemary) McReavy and a great granddaughter, Hannah, all of Durango, CO.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, son Billy and brother Roland.
Funeral services were Jan 15 at Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska; Odell Carlisle officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
