Alma L. "Sis" Budrow, 80, of Kalkaska passed away on Tue, Jul 5, 2011, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
She was born on Apr 25, 1931 in Pontiac to the late Clarence and Marjorie (Stephens) Sage.
Sis married Carl Budrow on May 21, 1949 in Clarkston. They moved to Kalkaska in 1971 from Waterford.
Sis loved spending time involved with family activities and treasured her grandchildren. She enjoyed baking, bird watching, and collecting teapots.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Carl; sons, Carl E. (Nancy) Budrow, Steve (Tammie) Budrow, and Scott (Shelly) Budrow, all of Kalkaska; brother, Bob (Karen) Sage of FL; sisters, Jean (Gerald) Nickerson of Hadley, and Pat (Walter) Ritlaw of Waterford; nine grandchildren, Jenny (Todd) Hoffman of Kingsley, Amy (Jason) Budrow, Susan (Alex) Budrow, Christian Budrow, Matt Budrow, Bobbie (Dan) Fairchild, Hannah Belknap, Cody and Luke, all of Kalkaska; and 16 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation was held on Mon, Jul 11, 2011, from noon to 2 pm, with the service beginning at 2 pm.
Memorials may be given to the Down Syndrome Association of West Michigan.
