Allene L. Foland, Ashley, age 80, of Rural Ashley passed away Thur., Dec 27, 2012 at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing. Allene was born Jun 5, 1932 in St Johns, the daughter of John and Irene (Dutton). She was a graduate of Eastern High School, class of 1950. She married Eddie Foland on Jun 30, 1956. Together they were dairy farmers. Allene loved to sing, clip articles out of newspapers. She loved life.
She is survived by her husband Eddie of 56 years, son Tim (Melissa) Foland, daughter Kim (Brian) Whetstine, son Dan (Janet) Foland, Lonnie Powell and Penny (Eugene) McClung, grandchildren: Nicole (Tom) Furlano, Nina (Rick) Dibble, Kyle Whetstine, Brett Foland, Brad (Heidi) Foland, Jessee Villarreal, Shaun Villarreal (Burke), Jill (Bryan) Pearson and 13 great grandchildren. Also a brother Earl (Sharon) Henry.
Allene was preceded in death by her parents and brother John Henry. It was her wish for no funeral.
A graveside service will be held Mon, Dec 31, 2012 at 2pm at Fulton Center Cemetery.
