Alice M Beaman, 71, of Kenton passed away on Sun, May 5, 2019. She was born in Lima on Dec 8, 1947 to the late Willard and Mattie VanAtta.
Alice married William Beaman on Jan 20, 1974 and he survives along with five daughters: Wendy Rayburn of Buffalo, WV, Amy Lawson of Lakeview, Sherry Cantrell of Bellefontaine, Marcy Martindale of Ada, and Emily Beaman of Kenton. Mrs. Beaman is also survived by two sisters: Deryl Fleming of Ada, and Susan Hatton of Lima; two brothers: Bill VanAtta and Mark VanAtta both of Ada; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and numerous niece and nephews. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Jerrica Renee Benton; her father and mother in law, William and Helen Beaman; and brothers in law: Bryan and Robert Beaman.
Alice loved hummingbirds, Neil Diamond, and dancing. She was a living wife, mother, and grandmother who loved everyone.
Visitation will be held on Tue, May 7, 2019 from 4 to 8 pm at the Schindewolf-Stout-Crates Funeral Home, Kenton. A funeral service will begin at 10:30am on Wed, May 8, 2019 at the Schindewolf-Stout-Crates Funeral Home, with Pastor Tomas Pistora officiating. Burial will follow in Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Alice to Bridge Home Health and Hospice.
