Alice B. Haskin, 79, former executive secretary for the American Red Cross in Traverse City, died Thursday at Munson Medical Center.
She lived in Traverse City the past 36 years, moving from Fife Lake. She was a member of Recovery Inc.
Born Nov. 30, 1908 in Louisville, Ky., she was the daughter of Edward and Dixie (Breshear) Bowie. On Nov 12, 1942, in Washington, D.C., she married Frederick H. Haskin, who died in 1986.
Surviving are a son, John A. Haskin of Traverse City; a daughter, Betty Neville of North Carolina; a sister, Dorothy Bowie of Petersburg, VA.; and five grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Covell-Smith Funeral Home in Kingsley. Burial will be in Springfield Township Cemetery, Fife Lake.
