Alice Aleen (Kimball) Nave, 88, of Kalkaska, passed away, Sun, Aug 22, 1999, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
She was born in Garfield Township, Kalkaska County, on Feb 3, 1911 to Ezra and Etta (Sutton) Kimball. She married Thomas Hall in Gladwin in 1934. He died in 1939. In 1955, she was united in marriage with Hugh "Bud" Nave, who preceded her in death in 1966.
Alice spent most of her life in Kalkaska County. She graduated from County Normal and taught a few years at Perrin School in Garfield Township.
Besides her husbands, she was preceded in death by brothers Lester, Alfred, and Stanley Kimball, and sister Ila Calkins.
Surviving are brother John (Ruth) Kimball of Kalkaska and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Aug 26 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska; Rev. David McCool officiated. Alice was buried next to Thomas Hall in Garfield Township.
