Murray Turnipseed, 74, of Kalkaska, passed away at Munson Medical Center on Mar 10, 2002. He was born on Jun 15, 1927 in Kalkaska County, the son of Alfred and Florence (Ball) Turnipseed.
Murray married Vivian L Larabee on Nov 17, 1946, in Kalkaska. He was a second generation farmer. Murray was a life-long member of Spencer Church of Christ and a member of the Farm Bureau.
Murray is survived by his loving family including his wife of 55 years, Vivian; children Alfred W (Cheryl) Turnipseed of Broken Arrow, OK, Victor M (Joan) Turnipseed of Kalkaska, Jeanne M (Glen) Catt of Millersberg, Chris E (Kelly Stephenson) Turnipseed of Kalkaska; sister Joyce Mason of Flushing; 13 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
The funeral service is noon on Wed, Mar 13, at Spencer Church of Christ. Visitation begins at 11 am at the church. Reverend Mark McCool will be officiating. Interment will be at Lodi Cemetery.
Memorials may be given in behalf of Murray Turnipseed to Spencer Church of Christ. Arrangements were made by Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska.
