Alfred E. Helbert, 29, of Kalkaska, died Sat, Sep 18, 1993, of injuries suffered in an automobile accident in Grand Traverse County.
Mr. Helberg moved to Kalkaska 10 years ago. At the time of his death, he was employed by Cherryland Asphalt Company.
Born in Bowling Green, OH on Feb 2, 1964, he was the son of Richard and Marcia Lincoln Helberg. On Dec 19, 1990, in Kalkaska, he was married to Laura Hager Bull who survives.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Christopher and Adrian Helberg of Kalkaska; one daughter, Meaghan Helberg of Kalkaska; four stepsons, Joshua Sherwood of Rapid City, Sam Sherwood of Williamsburg, Curtis Sherwood of Kalkaska, and David Bull of South Boardman; his mother, Marcia Morgan of Mt. Morris, his father, Richard Helberg; two sisters, Andria Morgan of Mt. Morris and Mrs. Glenn (Dean) Chilson of Petoskey; his grandmother, Geraldine Ecker of Flint; and two nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Wed, Sep 22, 1993, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. E. Dan Johnson, pastor of the Kalkaska Church of Christ, will officiate.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
