Alexander Murray Of McNatt Dies
Alexander (Alex) Murray, 85, who resided near McNatt, died at 3:15 a.m. Wednesday at Huntington Hospital after an illness of 10 years.
The son of Andrew and Rosetta Kimball Murray, Mr. Murray was born Jan. 6, 1880 in Chester Twp. His marriage in 1900 was to Mary Etta Tarr, who died in 1941.
Mr. Murray, a retired farmer was a member of the Union Chapel Methodist Church at McNatt and the IOOF Lodge at Mt. Zion and McNatt.
Surviving are a son, F. Edward Murray of Warren Route 2, seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the H. Brown & Son Funeral Home at Warren, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday. Rev. David Baker will officiate and burial will be in Mossburg Cemetery.
