Alberta Joyce Duncan, 81, of Fort Gratiot, passed away on September 12, 2013 in her home with her family by her side.
She was born on February 19, 1932 in Melvin, MI, daughter of the late, William and Margaret Utter.
Alberta was an inspector at the Goodwill Industries. She enjoyed reading as well as being a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda (Terry) Green of Fort Gratiot; daughter and son-in-law, Sandra (Randy) Louks of Port Huron; daughter, Shirley Duncan of Fort Gratiot and son, Gordon Duncan of Columbus; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Beatrice Dahlke of St. Clair Twp; brother, Lloyd Utter of Melvin and several nieces and nephews.
Alberta was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Duncan; sister, Doris Geroux and brother, Roy Utter.
Funeral services will be held 2 pm Tuesday at the Salvation Army, Port Huron. Major Mark Turner, Salvation Army will officiate.
Visiting hours will be held Tuesday 11 am to 2 pm at the Salvation Army.
