Albert Moon, 65 years old, lifetime resident of Beaver Creek Township, Crawford County, passed away at Grayling Mercy Hospital at 10 am, Thu morning Jun 3. He had been in failing health for the past three years. Mr. Moon was born Oct 8, 1888 at Pere Cheney, Crawford County, the son of Henry and Laura Moon.
Services were held Jun 7, 2pm at Sorenson Funeral Home and the remains were interred in Elmwood Cemetery. Being a Veteran of WWI, he was accorded a military funeral in charge of Grayling American Legion Post 106. Resides his wife Pearl Moon who resides in Beaver Creek; and is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Hanna of Traverse City, Mrs. Mabel Christenson of Flint, and Mrs. Laura Johnston of Beaver Creek; a brother, Loren Moon of Muskegon, two step daughters and numerous nephews and nieces from all parts of the state who attended the service.
