Bert Snyder, resident in Springfield township for over fifty years, died in a hospital in Manistee Dec. 20, 1947, at the age of 80 years and two months.
Mr. Snyder was born at Holt, Ingham County, Michigan, October 20, 1867. His wife preceded him in death about twelve years ago. He had recently been staying with a close friend, Mr. Ben Peterson, at East Lake, near Manistee.
Funeral services were held in the Springfield Church at 2 p.m. December 23, with Rev. A.R. Ellis officiating. Burial was in Springfield Cemetery across the road from the church where the services were held.
