Last Rites Held for Albert C Hoy, 56
Funeral services were held at noon Tuesday at Moreland’s South Gate Mortuary for Albert Charles Hoy, 56, of 2792 ½ Southern Ave. Mr. Hoy died at his home Fri, Jan 24 from a self inflicted gunshot wound, apparently the victim of despondency over ill health. Dr. Ray Jarman of the Christian Chapel Church officiated and burial was in Inglewood Cemetery.
A native of South Bend, IN, Mr. Hoy came to South Gate in 1927. He is survived by his wife, Mary; and a daughter, Helen Gorsky.
