Mrs. Agnes Frances Warchock, 100, of Kalkaska, and formerly of Ubly, passed away Sun night, Dec 25, 2005, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center-Long Term Care Unit.
Agnes was born Aug 13, 1905, in Tyre to the late Joan and Frances (Lautner) Sadro.
She married George Warchock. He preceded her in death on Aug 6, 1948.
Agnes farmed all her life. In 1974, she moved to Kalkaska and became a member of St Mary of the Woods Catholic Church.
Agnes is survived by one son, Lavern Warchock and his wife, Shelby, of Kalkaska; four grandchildren, Cheri Bootz and her husband, Dan of Kalkaska, George W Warchock and his wife, Donia, of Jackson, Janet Toot and her husband, Rick of Williamsburg, Tami Hendricks and her husband Chris of Kalkaska; and 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Beatrice Fox; one sister, Mary Osantowski; two brothers, Mike and Leonard Sadro Sr.
A funeral mass was held on Wed, Dec 28, at the St John Catholic Church in Ubly. The Rev. Joseph Griffin officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.
