Adeleva, 93, of Remus, MI, passed away on Thu, at the Isabella County Medical Care Facility in Mt. Pleasant.
Adaleva was born the daughter of Earl Miller Brown and Edith May (Kendig) Brown. On Jan 25, 1942, she married Lyle Eugene Harrison in Barryton, MI. She was a lifetime resident of the area.
Adeleva taught High School English at Perrinton and Chesaning Schools and also taught Journalism in High School. She was a member of the First Church of Christ in Mt. Pleasant and the book club. She enjoyed gardening and sewing.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Lyle on Feb 1, 1997; a brother, Weldon Brown; and a sister, Edith Baughman.
Funeral services were held on Sun, Oct 31, 2004 from the First Church of Christ in Mt. Pleasant with Mr. Mark Christian officiating. Interment took place beside her husband, Lyle. Memorial contributions were suggested to the First Church of Christ, or Great Lakes Christian College.
