Mr. Douglas F. Lenz, 62, of Fife Lake, died Thursday, March 1, 1990 of injuries suffered in an automobile accident near Kalkaska.
Mr. Lenz had been a resident of Fife Lake since 1976 when he moved here from Lansing. He served in the U.S. Army during WW II and retired from Oldsmobile in 1978. At the time of his death he was employed by G's Pizzeria & Deli in Kalkaska.
He was born on June 12, 1927 in Lansing to Frederick and Gladys (Briggs) Lenz. On June 24, 1949, in Lansing, he married Geraldine Rimboch who survives.
Also surviving are one son, Jim Lenz of Fife Lake; one daughter, Julie Lenz, of Kalkaska; one brother, Robert Lenz, of Belleview, FL; one grandson, Willie Lenz; three sisters-in-law; several nieces and nephews and friends.
Memorial services were held Sunday, March 4, 1990, at Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska. Russell Olin and Auggie Jyla officiated.
